Will this 4D ultrasound take the place of an ultrasound that is ordered by my doctor?
No. Your session with us does not replace any element of your prenatal care. We require that you are under the active care of a physician or midwife.
What is the best time during my pregnancy to have the 4D ultrasound session?
26-32 weeks is generally the best time but this depends on how you would like to see your baby. Before 26 weeks, you can see more of the baby at once. After 32 weeks, you will see more facial detail.
Can I invite my family and friends to attend the appointment?
Absolutely! This experience is for you and your loved ones. However, our room limits you to about 5 people.
Can you tell me the sex of my baby?
Sorry, but we do not do gender reveals.
Will I get adorable pics of my baby?
We will never deny your baby is just adorable, but sometimes the position of the baby will prevent it. Every baby and every scan is different and it cannot be guaranteed to meet everyone’s expectations. We will work to obtain the best images possible of your baby. We will reschedule your session once at no additional cost if we are unable to view the baby and get any face pictures.
What should I do prior to my 3d/4d ultrasound appointment?
Your prep instructions are VERY important in regards to getting the best 3d/4d ultrasound. Drink lots of water everyday before your appointment, to ensure you have enough amniotic fluid to get a clear ultrasound image. About 30 minutes before your appointment try and drink a fruit juice (if medically safe) so that the baby will be awake for your session.
